With the CheckSmart brand, we leaned heavily on the word “smart” (it’s right in the name!), presenting CheckSmart and it’s employees as smart financial assistants in the customers’ journey. This included making CheckSmart look, feel, and sound… well, SMART!
The bright vivid blues and teals promote trustworthiness, and add an extra layer of legitimacy to the brand, while the ranges of warm oranges, yellows, and salmon tones bring a warm and welcoming feel to the brand. Similarly the selection of HWT Artz as the primary headline font boldly drives home the key parts of the brand messaging. Lastly the voice and tone speak directly to the customer, being educating, without being condescending, giving the feel of a trusted teacher or advisor.
